Standard Code Cruising

The most versatile downwind sail for all boats. Modern yachts typically have short, non-overlapping or even self-tacking headsails. These are effective when sailing close-hauled. However, on reaching or running courses, these small headsails are not efficient. To maintain speed, enjoyment, and competitiveness, Rolly Tasker Sails has now developed a versatile cruising sail in addition to gennakers, spinnakers, and code zeros.

The Code C (Cruising) is a blend of a Code 0 and an asymmetric spinnaker, designed for wind angles ranging from 65 to 135 degrees. It can even be used poled out up to 180 degrees, offering a wide wind range. Additionally, this sail is flown on its own furler, making handling as easy as a roller furling headsail. A straight luff with Dyneema Anti-Torsion line ensures smooth rolling in and out.

The Code C can be custom-made in lightweight polyester fabric or heavier spinnaker fabric (Nylon). In addition to tailor-made sails, this versatile sail is also available in standard sizes and colors that are competitively priced.
